Contracts, corporate documents, court filings, arbitration records, and compliance materials with law-background specialist translators.
Legal translation fails in two distinct ways. The first is direct error â a term is mistranslated. The second is context failure â the translation is linguistically accurate but uses terminology that does not reflect how the target legal system would express the same concept. Both types of failure produce documents that do not function as intended, and the second is harder to detect without legal knowledge.
Naples is home to one of Italyâs most active legal communities, with particular concentration in commercial, maritime, and civil litigation. We have translated legal documents for Neapolitan law firms, Italian courts, corporate legal departments, and international arbitration proceedings. Our legal translators have law degrees or extensive professional legal translation experience.
We translate in both directions for all supported language pairs: Italian legal documents for international use, and foreign legal documents into Italian for Italian courts, authorities, and counterparties. The translation must function in the target legal context, which requires understanding both legal systems involved.
Confidentiality is a baseline requirement for legal work. All translators sign project-specific NDAs. We do not use cloud CAT tools for sensitive legal content. Files are handled on secure internal systems and deleted within 30 days of delivery unless a longer retention is agreed in writing.
